Slowly Making Progress

Well, we've made a bit more progress on the job front. Lee is now working part-time back at Big Red Liquors, where he moonlighted for 9 months back before we were married. It is a start. Job hunting is really tough in Bloomington. Lots of jobs, but lots of people vying for those same jobs. He's sent out tons of applications and resumes, but no bites quite yet. He had a phone interview early last week, but it was just a pre-screening kind of thing. We both hope he hears something soon. Please keep us in your thoughts.

I am also on the job search but not because I have to. I have had several interviews over the summer, but no job offers quite yet. I have another interview on Thursday, so we will see where that takes me. Lots of changes this year for the whole family, so it is never a dull moment.

We celebrated Lee's birthday with his mom, grandma, and Taylor this weekend. He turns 26 tomorrow. Aaahhh, to be young again. Okay, I'm not that far removed, but he sure makes me think so. He always tells me that 30 is right around the corner. Isn't he sweet?!?! I still have a couple of years for that.

Anyway, I thought I would just write an update so far. I'll keep you further updated as things hopefully change.

No Change...At least not on the job front

Hello everyone....I thought I would provide you with an update. No changes on the job front with Lee. He has been working with several temp agencies, but they are waiting to hear from hiring managers before he knows for sure on some jobs. We're hoping to hear something soon. He did have a job interview two weeks ago, but it did not pan out :-(.

The major change we are going to be experiencing soon is that Taylor will be moving. Her mom's new husband has enlisted in the military, and towards the end of the school year, they will all be moving to be with him. This news has been very hard on Lee and I because we will miss her greatly, and we are concerned with how much we will get to see her, our relationship with her, this major change in her life, etc.

I will keep you updated on both fronts as time progresses. Please remember to keep us in your thoughts as we keep all of you in our thoughts.
